Using IE7 you can easily integrate the enterprise search capabilities of Coveo with the users desktop. As you might know, you can configure in IE7 which search provider should be used by the Internet Explorer. Just click the arrow on the upper right corner of Internet Explorer and choose "search for other provider":

As a result you´ll get a screen like that (sorry its in German):

Into the URL-textbox you type in the URL of the server on which Coveo (or the Coveo-UI) is installed. In my case it´s like this:

http://webserver/ces4/default.aspx?q=TEST

You have to give a name for the provider, lets say "Coveo" and click Install

Now you are done. If you choose to make Coveo your standard search engine, your IE7 is perfectly Enterprise Search enabled.

If you have Vista and set Coveo as search standard you have an even better Enterprise Search integration. When you use the search capabilities of Vista using the Searchbox of the Start-Menu:

and now choose "Internet", your search will be directed to the Enterprise Search. The only thing you have to do is to explain your users that "Internet" means "Intranet" in this case.
